In Yorkshire, we're blessed with some fine cycling country right here on our doorstep. We invite you to work with us to help WaterAid achieve their goal that everyone, everywhere has access to clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene. These basic human rights underpin health, education and livelihoods, forming the first essential step in overcoming poverty. Together, great things can be done.
With teams working in 22 countries across Africa, the Americas, Asia and the Pacific region and Europe, WaterAid works with local partners to reach the poorest people and calls on governments to provide these solutions for everyone everywhere.”

The Water Cycle Challenge will return in 2025!
We've had a few years off, that's an extra few years of training you’ve had and with two challenging routes through the Yorkshire Dales including the favourite 80 mile ROMP route, you'll need it!
The event is organised by the WaterAid committee with ALL profits going to WaterAid!
Entry includes:
- fully-signed challenging route
- our famously fabulous enroute marshalls

- well stocked feedstations
- post ride meal
- fantastic scenery.

40 miles
Reservoir Rush
Feel the Rush. A 40-mile bite-sized slice of the action with all the drama squeezed into a perfectly sized portion.
Open to riders 12+
80 miles
Reservoir Romp
Who doesn't love a good Romp? A just right 80-miler up and down dales, a few big ups, some cracking downs. You'll be romping along.
Open to riders 16+
