This Boil Order in Hawes, Gayle, Appersett, Askrigg (DL8-3) has been lifted.
We’re pleased to say samples have shown the precautionary Boil Order in the area, issued on Saturday 4 November, can be lifted and customers can return to normal water usage.

Will people be reimbursed if they buy bottled water?
As customers were able to consume water after boiling, we will not be providing reimbursements for bottled water at this time.
Will I be compensated?
Compensation will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
