If you want to know more about your bill, how we work it out, our charges, or how your meter measures the amount of water you use, then you’ve come to the right place.

About your bill

From 1st April 2018 the average amount we charge our customers for water and sewerage goes up by 3.3% and we’ve ensured this increase is lower than the rate of inflation.

However, our charges are still some of the lowest in the country.

Of course, each customer's bill is going to be a bit different as it all depends on what kind of services you get from us. For example, if your home is fitted with a water meter then you’ll pay for the amount of water you use, but if you don’t, you’ll pay a fixed amount for the year.

On your bill you’ll see included a standing charge. This is a fixed charge which covers things like producing bills, and providing and investing in customer services.
