Enjoy a gentle stroll at Cod Beck Reservoir
Just North of the picturesque North York Moors National Park village, Osmotherley, Cod Beck Reservoir is an easy going short walk. The North York Moors are one of the largest expanses of open heather moorland in the United Kingdom. The walk has no steps, stiles and the gates can be opened wider with RADAR keys for increased mobility.

Terrain & gradient
The entire route on Yorkshire Water land within the boundary fence is wide, well surfaced and mostly flat apart from a gradual incline and decline at the end of the walk. Please note, the path outside of the boundary fence is a bit narrow in places.
How to get there
By car
Car parking is available to the North of Cod Beck Reservoir, DL6 3AL.
From the A19
Take the A684 exit towards Northallerton and turn sharp left onto A684 shortly after. Follow the road as it bears left and take the next right onto Clack Lane. Follow this road into the centre of Osmotherley and turn left onto North End. Follow this road for 1.5 miles where the 2 car parks will be on your right just north of Cod Beck Reservoir.
